London Joiners Ltd. are expert cabinetmakers and conservators of fine antiques, works of art, and objects of virtue. Traditional cabinetwork and furniture making are designed using the classical system of Greek proportion, factors of five or seven, as evident by the blueprint design above. This system is used on traditional replications as well as for modernist designs. London Joiners Ltd. are also expert in traditional gold leaf work, French polishing and Italian polishing, ancient wax quill (reed) polishing, replication carvings, clock case parts, bone and pearl work, veneer inlay and marquetry, wooden musical instrument repair and lac finishing, and the coloring of wood and other materials by traditional guild methods as well as code specifications. Museums, collectors, and historical societies have commissioned London Joiners Ltd. to restore and/or conserve important American and European antiques and furniture, some details of which follow in the interviews below.

W. Godziemba-Maliszewski is recognized expert, a Maître Ébéniste, Menuisier, Cabinetmaker of the highest distinction who learned his art in Europe and America. He has been the proprietor of London Joiners Ltd. since 1981, though his experience in art, antiques, and cabinetmaking dates from 1970. W. Godziemba-Maliszewski has been invited to lecture many historical societies, among them The New Canaan Historical Society, The Ridgefield Historical Society, The Pound Ridge Historical Society, The Bedford Historical Society, The Bedford Garden Club, The Connecticut League of Historical Societies, and Caramoor. Apart from his expertise in conservation, W. Godziemba-Maliszewski is recognized for creating accurate replications using old and rare wood, as well as for new designs using historic methods. An expert in forensic detection of antique fakery, Godziemba-Maliszewski's opinions have resulted in several cases of money being returned by dealers to buyers of misrepresented "antiques". Westchester Magazine named London Joiners "The Best of Westchester" in 2006.
