A very rare and historic Irish-American whisky glass beaker, THE NATIVE WHISKY,circa 1870-1900. According to the historian Drew Liberty, in America after the Civil War Irish veterans developed the Fenian movement promoting Irish nationalism. Such products were typical of the movement. Etched with the entire map of United Ireland and showing the place names, Dublin, Belfast, and Newry. Across the map is the name of the distiller "Duncan Alderdice & Co. Ltd." and the banner, "The Native Whisky". A very rare piece of history. The glass beaker is about four inches tall.
