Printed on the square four, many pages have not been slit open. There is damage to the spine paper, but not the sewn threads. May be expertly conserved. A book marker was found [included with the sale], apparently a torn envelope address with the text "Yeates & Son Ltd. 2 Grafton Street Dublin" -in Joyce's works, one of his characters [?] looks into the window of this shop.
