A turned wooden bezel (sometimes also from antique bull's eye mirrors) within which are a quadrant column, a quadrant base, and a clock case foot, all made by London Joiners Ltd.
A column base photographed with a finished and patinated quadrant alongside three other walnut turnings that are unfinished. The match to the clock was perfect.
A quadrant column made for a missing section of an English mahogany long case clock. The piece was made by joining four rectangular shapes of old Cuban Mahogany with paper and fragile glue between sections, then turning on a lathe. After finishing and patination work the piece was tapped apart and the result perfectly matched the surviving quadrant of the clock bonnet.
Bonnet from an American Tallcase Clock, the right swan neck of which was missing. A steel swan neck is held against the replaced neck to check for symmetry.
