This wet bar is inspired by the Biedermeire style of 1830’s southern Germany. The primary carcass wood is from a Swiss Pear tree, numbered 37775MI by the Swiss Government’s sustainable forest management program. The burl panels are Chinese Camphor, book-matched, forming a recurring pattern on the entire face of the upper and lower cabinets.
1/8” quarter-round Nigerian Ebony stringing is inlaid to all edges, nearly 400 linear feet. The counter is of black granite, edged at the front corners to conform to the half-round shape of the vertical columns. The columns continue on the top section of the carcass and end with two wooden wine cups on the top bonnet. The lower drawers accommodate wine racks, and open with sliding dovetails. The finish is French Polished.
